In the wild these creatures take the nutrients they need from various fruits and seeds, but in captivity it is the owner duty to provide them with all necessary minerals and vitamins. If the bird is fed only seeds, it may suffer of vitamin deficiency. As for diet, parrot quaker birds are not costly to feed, like most of the aviary.
